I'm looking for a glass shingle system for an unheated exterior bicycle storage building (okay, it's a bit of a bike palace).
The design Architect found a Bendheim system, but is looking for other manufacturers, preferably in the US.

Hi Lisa
Are you talking about this type of system?

I would love to get a chance to specify a system like that.

I don't know another off the top of my head but I wonder if companies like Sentech or McGrory could offer something similar.

Ken,
Yes, that's it. But more of a shingled type assembly. Like the small glass boat storage shed here: https://www.aw-arch.com/community-rowing-boathouse
Ironically, I wrote the spec for that too, but had no idea about the shingle system until I saw the completed building. Plan to get a better handle on this one.

I looked up that Community Rowing boathouse and Architectural Record lists suppliers. Maybe try contacting the reps listed there?

Loretta,
Good idea, but the clip system isn't listed there. Now I'm thinking the project is too old for anyone to remember.

Based on Loretta's linked article my guess is that the system may have been by Schuco, who is apparently still around and located in CT. Might be worth a phone call. If they did it, I'll bet they'd remember it.
