Apparently NBS is spreading its wings to tackle the US market. They are launching a USA Master Specification content library for their Chorus platform. Chorus seems to be a little bit like what MasterSpec/Deltek is working towards. Maybe. I know nothing about it except that they are having a webinar, conveniently scheduled for 11:00 am GMT. (Which isn't too bad if you are in the Eastern Time Zone.) I signed up out of curiosity. I'd be interested to see that they have. They say it is structured around CSI MASTERFORMAT(R)* and references American standards such as ASTM. https://www.thenbs.com/events (Make sure you are in the UK version of the site.) * As an aside, according to the new CSI Brand Standard, "When using these CSI Marks (ie., MASTERFORMAT, OMNICLASS(R), etc.) in typed form in text (either alone or with other words), present the mark in all capital letters or italics and use the proper symbol shown here." |

I don't know much about Chorus, but here is an article from 2018: https://aecmag.com/technology/nbs-chorus/ I signed up for the webinar just out of curiosity. Who knows? It's free, and while it is early, I am up before 6:00. |
