Has anyone else read through the subject document?
The topic is AI usage and perception in architecture.
The study investigates "...multiple dimensions of the intersection between architects and products and materials."
I can't figure out the title. Does it suggest that Deltek intends to replace specifying with AI?
I would appreciate your viewpoint.

Hello Edward. I am the Specifications Technical Lead for Deltek, working on the content material for AIA MasterSpec. I have been asked to respond to your message.

1) Deltek's Overarching Goal for Leveraging AI for our Industry: To provide a companion tool for specifiers, enabling them to make more informed decisions and enhancing their expertise on their projects. We have no intention of displacing a specifier or a specification. AI is merely intended to augment the role of a specifier and to help educate.

2) How it Started: We sought to provide a tool that efficiently and quickly finds information that has historically been buried within the valuable research material of MasterSpec's Evaluations documents.

3) Mitigating Risk: In order to provide accurate answers to user prompts, we have isolated the data source for our AI tool to MasterSpec-specific materials. This provides a clean source of information and prevents confusing or inaccurate web-sourced information that can misguide end users.

4) Security: Deltek is exploring avenues to allow firms to apply AI to their project data and office masters, but we are only using Deltek and AIA-owned intellectual property as a means to prevent unintended data breaches.

We hope this response clarifies our intention.
