I wonder how many people will know the reference to this phrase? ;-) I will be writing specifications for a project in Albuquerque. Normally, I would not taken the job, but I do a lot of work with this Seattle architectural firm. As you know, New Mexico has a very different climate than Washington State. I am specifying nationally distributed products to ensure availability. Is there anything that I need to be sure to include or exclude in my specifications? Any tips would be appreciated. David G. I would take a look at making sure to use high temperature underlayments below metal flashing/coping/panels. I would also stay away from AAMA 2603 powder coat finishes on exterior surfaces due to fading. |
