A re-post of a topic erroneously posted in the "specs" discussion area:
"Issue: The owner's QC department wanted to require stamping/signing of all shop drawings of the Contractor's [delegated] designers, since it has come up that there has been inconsistency between projects, even on just the structural-related drawings.
They since pulled back on that request. But it is unclear what specific criteria would trigger this or what should be required.
Any thoughts?"
