What apps do you find handy with your iPad out in the field? Here is a short list of mine: - PlanGrid - http://www.plangrid.com/ - Newforma's InfoExchange (not really an App, I know) - INCHcalc - Converter - Clinometer - CSI Membership Directory app - Wyse PocketCloud Remote Desktop App allows you to log into multiple networks - Architecture Pro Over 400 formulas, ADA, IBC, NEC codes - Documents to Go Office Suite Edit, create, view word and excel files - QuickOffice- iPad version of Microsoft Office (some in my office prefer this one) - DropBox Online storage site - GoodReader - Read large size PDF and TXT files - GoToMeeting Attend on-line meetings - Paper Desk- Allows you to create/manage multiple paper note books - Pendulum Note taking - Penultimate- One of the better sketching/ jotting/ art applications available - Sketchbook Pro Another excellent drawing tool with ability to export to Photoshop with layers Online code database - www.MADcad.com I haven't used this App (its $600!), but it looks interesting: ArchiPad: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/archi-pad-your-punch-list/id447804891?mt=8 |

Newforma also is offering a new punch list feature for Android. I hear iPad is coming soon. The couple users, so far, have had positive reviews. |
