Anyone know where I can get a simple to read (simple for numbnuts like me) line by line comparison of the 1997 A201 with the new version adopted in October?
Or if not, something similar? |

Go to AIA website, Contract Documents, on right side, there's "Need help with 2007 documents? Get document commentaries, comparisons, and guides to amendments and supplementary conditions."
This should lead you to following URL http://www.aia.org/docs_free_paperdocuments
There are comparisons, commentaries and other useful info for most (if not all) new 2007 docs. |

For those of you in the Washington DC area, the DC Metro Chapter will discuss the new AIA 201 at it's December meeting. It will be presented by long-time DC chapter member Linda Hartman who is a specifier turned attorney. You will have to ask her the history as to the transformation.
