A product rep sent one of our designers a copy of NCMA Tek Spec 19-7 dealing with water repellency. A direct quote from his cover email reads, "It is very well done and is gaining traction with specifiers. We expect it will displace the old E-514 test which does not compare one admix product to another." along with this document are submittal sheets for the product he is selling. I have always specified water repellent aditives that are ASTM E-514 compliant and see no reason to change since it is a nationally accepted and verifible criteria. Comments please.
