Has anyone had experience with this product? We have a need for fast installation (what a surprise - and how different) and this product was recommended by a contractor. http://baseking.com/products/envirostix/ Thanks. |

I would check with the flooring materials manufacturer. If the adhesive is not recommended/endorsed by the those guys and there is a failure, I would imagine that the Owner would be on the hook to replace any floor materials that might be damaged. The adhesive manufacturer may at least provide a bucket of adhesive. |

I was intrigued so I talked to these guys. I have had several projects where the concrete was not drying out soon enough. It sounds pretty nifty and they have a lot of product down, but... You ship the flooring material (resilient floor tile or sheet as well as carpet tile, but not broadloom) to their factory (currently in Dalton, GA) where they apply the adhesive to the flooring material and ship it back to the jobsite for installation. There are some time advantages with regard to the installation process, but I would think there is going to be a leadtime issue, especially if the flooring material is already at the jobsite. |

Interesting. We decided that the product wouldn't work in a retro-fit situation because of the problems with removing the existing adhesive. I'm not too sure that sending the flooring to them would work well in most of the type of projects we do... Thanks for your curiosity! |
