The IGU's were not much more per sqft than the high quality low-e glass throughout (this was electrochromic glass)... I understood the big extra to be the hardware/controls/wiring as well as the extra coordination and labor the installation requires. I do not have numbers off hand. |

We have used switchable privacy glass a number of times. The cost is in the range of $100 per sq. ft.; more if the unit sizes are small and less if the units and total order is bigger. The switchable film does have a maxiumum size and if the units exceed that size, you will see a line where the sheets meet. |
