Yes, another single ply membrane thread. I do have a question as far as manufacturer's go. I prefer specifying Sarnafil G410, but have run into issues when specifying two others in order to have a min. of three manufacturers. While I have specified them, IB Roofing just doesn't have a local presence in order to maintain competition. I also have revised the ASTM's to allow Fibertite to directly compete against Sarnafil. Do you have any pros/cons on specifying Carlisle? Any others? |

Our office has utilized Carlisle for a few decades (in the Chicago area) and have had good success. We do not however typically spec their PVC product (mostly EPDM) so our experience may not be relevant. However, in terms of the Carlisle company we have been very satisfied. |

try Johns Manville instead. Carlisle is good, but it doesn't make the product in the same thicknesses, and it is a slightly modified chemistry. I like the Carlisle product, but our roofing consultants prefer Johns Manville as the third option in a spec. |

Anne - Is JM now producing a PVC membrane, or are they third party labeling it from another manufacturer? |
