Hello

Do any of you have experience with glazing frameless glass units into rammed earth jamb pockets? If so, do you have a recommended sealant type? Thanks for any insight you can provide!

Peggy, you might want to touch base with Errol Bull at Momentive (GE Silicones) - errol.bull@momentive.com. He is a great technical resource and easy to work with.

Thanks Ken - Errol was very helpful. Not sure what the final decision is, but I think they are leaning toward a Dow product instead of GE/Momentive. Testing is the key, of course, for adhesion and potential staining.

Glad to hear that Errol came through. Dow and GE are both excellent. I'd be surprised if Dow can come up with anything that GE can't provide also, but as you said, testing is key. I hope at least one of them can solve this condition.
