Hi,

I'm trying to put the finishing touches on a wall section. It is a Dryvit Outsulation Plus MD EIFS system. I am concerned with the 1 1/2" stone veneer scratch coat at the wainscot (3' high)

I ran this by their plan review but wanted some other input, they were not bothered with the detail.

Do you generally have a drainage mat between the scratch coat and rigid insulation? I saw a Sto system have this feature. What are the best fasteners to attach the lath? They are going through 3" of EPS.

Here is the wall section:

1/2" sheathing
Backstop NT
3" EPS
3/4" scratch coat/metal lath
1 1/2" Stone Veneer (sits on stemwall)

Minnesota job.

Thank you,
Trevor

PS-can we post images?
