Sound Batts - Division 07 or 09?

I am inclined to specify them in 09 8116 - Acoustic Blanket Insulation. Am I thinking right? I used 098116 only if the insulation is used in wood stud-framed partitions. I have used 098100 Acoustic Insulation mostly for theater or broadcasting projects, where there has been multiple types of acoustic insulation. Margaret G. This avoids having redundant provisions in several sections (shaftwall, gyp board, etc). David J.
