Article: Nonchemical wood-preservative treatment apparently does not prevent rot as evidenced in the New Orleans homes built by Brad Pitt's Make it Right Foundation. My favorite quote: "Royle said Make It Right officials vetted the wood product, putting their trust in the manufacturer’s 40-year guarantee." Ah, yes, the ol' "it has a warranty so it must be good" approach to product selection.
