I am specifying Aluminum plate wall panels (not a composite material), an exterior cladding system based on a product manufactured by Dri-Design; a problem has come up with the use of this product in SFL, Dri-design is a small manuf and has only one NOA approved for South Florida where their product is mounted on plywood over wood or metal studs. The architect chose to document the system using a Gypsum Sheathing substrate, Densglass Gold. Plywood (nailable) and Gypsum Sheathing (not nailable) are not interchangeable. So I am looking for a similar product from a larger manufacturer that already has an NOA or is willing to get one for its product installation in SFL. in this case the aluminum will be factory painted based on a Kynar or Duranar product complying with AAMA 2605. Any one know of any such products?

Firestone sells solid aluminum plate cladding systems. Solid plate systems also help with meeting IBC 2603.5 requirements for NFPA 285 testing if there is foam plastic insulation in the exterior wall design.

Should have mentioned that Dri-Design, like the ACM panel manufacturers, does not actually design the mounting system for the panels--which may be why they don't have certification. Firestone does take responsibility for the mounting system for both plate and ACM panels.

Thanks Louis appreciate the feedback, when I performed several searches on line, Firestone never came up.
