MMA doesn't tend to provide the elongation typically expected from a thin film, direct-to-substrate membrane. Having said that, it is a very strong and durable product and has its place when exposed membrane is subject to abusive conditions such as pedestrian or vehicular traffic. MMA is very good protection at commercial kitchen exhaust vents. Consider polyurea as well. You might get better elongation while still getting many of the benefit seen from MMA.
