If so, do you use Heckman fastener/brick ties installed to attach the insulation, installed by the insulation contractor? scott piper (Unregistered Guest) Unregistered guest Posted on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 - 05:49 pm:    In our area the cavity insulation (of any type) is typically the responsibility of the mason and not the insulation contractor. It could be different in other areas (it might be a union trade issue in our area). We typically use the adjustable anchors in the eyelets of the wire reinforcement to hold the insulation in place. I believe the Hunter website shows it done this way as well.
