Am looking for a custom wood storefront manufacturer and/or specification. I haven't found any manufacturer that offers anything besides big windows. Thanks,Robin |

Wood storefront systems are offered by Dynamic Windows and by Duratherm, although neither is focused on the commercial market, so I'm not sure how useful their specs will be. http://www.dynamicwindows.com/modern/lightcommercialandluxuryresorts.html http://www.durathermwindow.com |

I have used Pacific Architectural Millwork to make some beautiful mahagony exterior storefront systems: http://www.pacmillwork.com/cms/ |

An alternate might be to use a standard aluminum storefront with a woodgrain powdercoat finish. See http://www.qualitypowdercoating.com/dallas/decorative-powder-coating/decorative-color-chart/ Word to the Wise: These are not AAMA 2605 coatings, but they should require less maintenance than real wood. If your application is an interior application, it should do fine. Jim Hester at Quality Powder Coating is a member of the Dallas CSI Chapter and is very knowledgeable about metal finishes. |

Since this is custom woodwork, Nathan has the right idea to use a custom millwork shop. I would also look at the AWS (Architectural Woodwork Standards) for details and specifications and the Woodwork Institute Supplement for quality assurance requirements. |

Here is a better link to Pacific Architecutral Millworks site (goes right to their storefront systems): http://www.pacmillwork.com/cms/CustomWindowsDoors/Products/EntryDoors.aspx |
