We typically specify Thoroseal as a coating over cmu to receive stucco, usually 1/2" thick - we received a query from an architect that BASF will not warranty Thoroseal if the stucco is applied thicker than 3/8" - no reason given - this is a parapet wall application. My local BASF rep is taking Leap Day off - who knew Leap Day was a holiday, but than again I work on Xmas, time to change professions?

Found out where all the BASF reps are, there is a National Conference in Phoenix, so what's the weather like in Phoenix this time of year?

N.I.C.E!

It's pretty cool out right now...a frigid 65 deg. F!

Ron, you are evil...informative, but evil (grin)...it'll be 30 degrees or more colder than that here today. Sigh. At least I'll get a respite next week. Tucson's supposed to be nice, too.

Lynn, Tucson is also nice--a few degrees cooler than Phoenix, though. Have fun at the Master Specifier Retreat!

It's always comfortably warm and sunny in Virginia, but we spread bad-weather rumors to cut down on immigration.

Yeah, that's the ticket! We do the same thing here in Minnesota.
