They've written and asked to be included as one of our "preferred" curtain wall manufacturers/contractors. Of course, we don't do that, but I suppose they could be included in our spec. I've never heard of this company. They are owned by Far East Global Group. Any information would be appreciated. I ran into the chinese aluminum a few years ago here in California. I would stay away from them. And possibly show me some local installations. Etc. If they couldn't, I wouldn't be able to evaluate them. These were two of the big guns in the curtain wall fabrication industry and it's going to leave a lot of people hurt including glass fabricators, aluminum suppliers, unions and subs, not to mention the GC's and building owners who were staking their completion dates on getting the work done on time. This is not good news.
