Does anyone have any experience with MRI Steel Framing? Manufacturers of metal studs out of Gary, Indiana.

What do they have that would lead you to specify them by name?

Most metal studs are specified generically.

I have manufacturers listed in my specification that I am comfortable using. The GC on this project has requested them as a substitution for non load bearing and structural light gauge framing.

With the exception of some specialty products metal studs are a commodity product.
