While visiting my daughter in California a few months ago we went into a store that had an entrance mat that appeared to be open grid tiles with 6" - 12" carpet square inserts. I thought it looked interesting, but didn't pay any more attention to it. Of course, now that I'm back in Virginia I have a project where I think it might work well, but I haven't been able to find any information on it. The closest I have found is Amarco Matrix Tile www.amarcoproducts.com/mod-matrix.htm , but the tiles I saw were larger. Has anybody seen entrance mats like these? Unfortunately, it is a state project, and doesn't have the budget for a trip to California for additional research. |
