I know this discussion is a few years old, but I have a question related to this. Do any of you know of foil-faced polyiso sheathing products (such as Energy Shield by Atlas Roofing, or R-Matte Plus-3 by Rmax, or Thermax Sheathing by Dow) that have a flame spread of 25 or less? Does such a thing exist? |

Doh! I think I answered my own question: Johns Manville; AP Foil-Faced Polyisocyanurate Foam Sheathing. But if people know of others, please let me know. |

Has anybody here ever used The Dow Knight CI system on a high rise building? The thing that concerns me is that they rely entirely on the foam as the sheathing, water barrier and water proofing.. The joints are taped. The thing that bothers me is that the studs may be exposed water with this system at the joints since all they do is tape them. |
