I understand that this document (AIA A521/EJCDC 1910-16)is now defunct from the AIA side of things, but still may be available from EJCDC. I have not used this in the past, and am only peripherally familiar with it from certification studies. So my questions are: 1. Have you have used this document in the past? 2. Is it still a viable document for your current practice? 3. Are there any other similar documents or softwares out there that might be as good as or better than...? Thanks, George A. I consider this an indispensible document, and keep it handy for frequent reference. My slightly yellowed copy is the 1981 edition, and all the info is still valid. I recommend it as a valuable resource, if you are able to obtain a copy. I'm not aware of any substitute document or software. Jeff Wilson Wilson Consulting Inc Narberth PA |

Jeff- I think the 1981 edition was the last time AIA published it. George A. Everding AIA CSI CCS CCCA Cannon Design - St. Louis, MO |

AIA A521 - there is a 1995 edition availabe: http://www.constructionbook.com/aia-a521-uniform-location-of-subject-matter-1995/aia-a-documents/ Is also EJCDC 1910-16. It is my understanding that it is about to be reissued again. At least I provided some requested review comments to the technical committee on a draft of it in June of this year. Technical committee may have better publication date info. |

If you are really serious about the "say in the right place" part of "Say it once and say it in the right place", this is a great resource. |

The AIA identifies it as a "retired document." I hope they gave it a going away party. |
