We have exposed precast planks in a senior living center that will be painted. We are use to the typical textured paint with the joints exposed solution. Owner wants to have some areas without joints. Other than adhering or furring gyp board to the bottom of the plank, what other options do we have? Russ Hinkle |

You options may be limited. There will be some movement (unless you have really over designed this stuff), and a crack will most likely develop along the joint. If you are not careful with your furring, you may get cracking there as well. |
