There is an interesting article in the August/September 2014 of Fine Homebuilding that is downloadable. I hope to read it again later this month, or next, until than perhaps my peers who are knowledgeable of Building Science want to take a look. If you are unable to download it, I have a PDF that I will share upon request. The article outlines 7 basic principles to make homes safe, durable, and energy efficient. From my quick read, it seems to be a good article on the basics of building science, the author is A. Tamasin Sterner (a Home Energy Coach - seriously, seems like there are coaches for everything these days)...Hey Ron maybe you should call yourself a Building Code Coach? I've been looking for such a short article to pass along to my clients to get them interested in Building Science. Perhaps setting off another Lstiburek revival. By subscribing to Fine Homebuilding's Newsletter, you should be able to access the article.
