Has anyone developed a Section for Rammed Earth? Internet searches would indicate that there is a certain amount of art and alchemy in this process and that it is very dependent on the installer. It seems that Division 03 is the right location for it. Appreciate any help. |

ASTM E2392 / E2392M - 10e1 is the Standard Guide for Design of Earthen Wall Building Systems. http://www.astm.org/Standards/E2392.htm I can't find it on their website anymore but I have a Sirewall spec I'd be glad to share. bmaine1@cox.net Bruce Maine CDT LEED AP |

It is not clear that this system is recognized by the building code to resist seismic forces? |
