Well it appears that the quartz countertop industry suffers from the "Top Secret Information" delusion of some other industries! Trying to find a semi-useful Guide Spec online that is more than a Product Data Sheet at best has proven futile.

If anyone has a section to get me started and are willing to share, you can send it to paul.gerber@rogers.com.

Thanks in advance for any help and your continued generosity.

Do you have MasterSpec?

Look at Section 12 36 61 "Simulated Stone Countertops."

MasterSpec = US

Paul = Canadian eh? Unfortunatley I can't justify the expense of a master spec system that would require way more work to make it useful (with respect to building codes and reference standards) in the Great White North eh?

Our Canadian Government master spec (for use on Canadian government projects) has no such section to even use as a starting point :-(

Congratulations on your upcoming "F'ing" Mr. Geren! Well deserved! I look forward to seeing you in Nashville!

DuPont has a good three part specification for its Zodiaq quartz countertop on its website.

Thanks Bruce...and thanks to a couple of to remain un-named (to protect the innocent) colleagues here who were fast on the reply button for your help. I think I am set!

As usual I am humbled by the prompt response and willingness to support and share that I find in this community!! I look forward to being able to return the "favor" (instead of the correct favour) in the near future for one of my neighbour's to the south!
