Anyone written specs for projects in Australia? Am trying to learn if they use CSI format, ASTM standards etc. As always, thanks in advance for your input!

Robin, you should also contact Peter Kelly, a SCIP member in Melbourne. His work includes some of the tallest buildings in Melbourne.

I agree with Ron a Field Trip to Melbourne sounds like a great idea, perhaps Colin can organize it as the first ever 4specs.com specwriter exchange, some of theirs for some of ours.

Robin

I set up the Australian office of the UK spec consultancy I used to be part of. We set up an entire master, using ANZ (Australia/New Zealand) standards with a liberal sprinkling of British Standards.

There is a national master specification, called NatSpec, but is it not the greatest... you can check it out at http://www.natspec.com.au

If we can help in any way, please let me know.

Lars
