It could be tricky if there are unusual stains or something that would not be cleanable using conventional commercial cleaners. There, specific methods, or results, may need to be indicated. Purpose was to remove "stuff" that could compromise refinishing with new surface applied finishes. I use Section 017423 FINAL CLEANING for final cleaning. Repainting is in Section 099000 - Painting and Coating per MPI. As an aside, painting or repainting of existing substrates is an OFTEN overlooked and forgrotten area by designers.
