What section number have you assigned to tensioned cable wire rails used as car/pedestrian railings at the perimeter edges of a parking garage and at the interior ramp locations between levels? My first thought was to create a section number 'under' 05 15 00 Wire Rope Assemblies, like 05 15 15 and call it "Barrier Cable Railing" (keeping the word, "Barrier" to differentiate it from simple pedestrian-style guardrails). For those of you that have already specified this, what did you do? Others: what *would* you do? |

Current MasterSpec Section 055000 includes zinc-coated wire rope parking garage guards, so I would specify them here rather than in a separate section. |
