It's silly. But, I have a story that's related. Some architecture firms aren't quite sure what the professional obligations of an architect are, because they aren't very good at them. These firms are the firms that are more likely to accept responsibility for scopes of work that lie outside the normal expertise of an architect, because they are just as unskilled at THAT work as they are at the work they're SUPPOSED to be doing. They don't know where they are, because they don't know where they aren't.
