I don't find an assigned number in Uniformat for an acoustic report. I'm inclined to assign it to 1040.60. Anyone have a better idea? |

You could, but isn't it an assessment of existing conditions and thus would be a subclass of 1040.30? Following the Application Guide, you could use 1040.30.AR. Ron Geren, AIA, CSI, CCS, CCCA, SCIP www.specsandcodes.com |

Thanks, Ron! Part of it is existing conditions assessment – i.e., site faces an arterial with a signalized intersection and traffic noise can be expected to be __db. The other part is recommendations on how to deal with issues like elevator, overhead doors to garage downstairs, etc. A geotech report similarly includes both assessment and recommendations. It seemed like 1040.60 would be an equivalent assignment. |
