Very unusual to learn about it in school. Doesn't do any good to whine about it. Solution: Inhouse education using CSI education courses modified to reflect firm's practice and available tools. Instructors: The specfier and other technically oriented architects. In my experience, staff welcomes this type of education. Because we had a speaker who spoke about the economic forcast for construction in the the coming year, she was joined by her husband who is a developer. I enjoyed talking to them both and was able to introduce her to a number of our chapter members. Although she is a member of the Institute, she left asking about how to go about joining the chapter. Lynn, thanks for posting her name and link to her blog. I definitely think we will be seeing more of her in the future.
