Annette Wren recently sent me a list of CSI Chapter and Region shows and table top opportunities. The link to her list is below. I plan to promote this list to manufacturers as local opportunities - and I plan to exhibit at some of them myself. If you know of a show in your chapter, email me and I'll add you to the list. http://discus.4specs.com/discus/messages/405/4912.html?1266978797 Colin Gilboy Publisher, 4specs.com 435.654.5775 - Utah 800.369.8008 |

The Los Angeles Chapter held it's show last Thursday night (February 25). It was very well attended. There were about 45 tabletops. Several hundred architects and related professionals attended, to see the show, to eat great food, and to listen to 4 seminars. We found that even in a down economy, or maybe specially in a down economy, the professionals will attend an event with good exhibits and good education. Annette and I photographed the event. We met hundreds of people we knew, both exhibitors and attendees. It was exciting to do. I've heard of several chapters cancelling their shows because of the recession. I think that's not a good idea. |

Are you interested in non-CSI shows? I'm planning a USGBC-South Carolina state conference that's upcoming in May in Charleston, SC and we have very low vendor booth rental rates. |
