I was wondering if any of you have experience with Polyguard waterproofing systems. They offer underslab and vertical wall waterproofing products in a similar category to Grace's products. The company is Texas based. A local rep is trying to help them get established in our area - we have been reluctant preferring to use our standby products that we have been specifying for years. They have recently become listed in MasterSpec which is not an endorsement - but it is something that we give some consideration to and usually encourage those marketing products to try to establish. Any first hand experience with the use of these products? |

I've been familiar with them for maybe 20 years, and have specified them on projects, though not recently. They don't have a big market presence in New England, but they are a well-established firm with products I would generally trust. |

Dale, Mike Collins Polyguard Products here. Let me know where you are located, or what area the jobs you are considering using Polyguard Underslab and Blindside are in, and I will get a relevant list of jobs, contractors, and architects that have used the material. I'm sure they will give you their opinions and help you decide. I'm also available to answer any questions, technical or otherwise.
