No negative experiences with them. Titan is based in Sacramento and we've seen them on projects, also with no negative experiences. No experiences with the others. The project is in CA, and so is the developer, so it makes some sense that they would include these manufacturers (at least the 2 in that area). And as long as they can produce product meeting the standards in the spec., especially the fire rating testing, I can include them. [The other 2 are out. (DCI) who are from the LA area. They seem to be very competitive here (we're north of San Francisco) and we've had no issues with their product as well. That's good to know for future projects. For this particular project, I have a set of "guidelines" from the developer with a lot of outdated information and manufacturers. Y'all know how well those "guidelines" can work! So I'm forced to check all the references contained in the guidelines for accuracy and being current (I wanted to type "currancy" but that just is weird). No problems with Stiles who are members of HMMA. I would not hesitate to include them as an acceptable manufacturer. Our standard practice is manufacturers who are SDI or HMMA members or members of both are acceptable. I did see that. BUT, when I clicked to go to Titan's web site from the HMMA listing, there's nothing there. It says that you're at the Titan web site, but there's no company info. So, I'd just as soon not list them. They'll have to prove that they are acceptable and can produce to the spec.
