Any one with experience in cold storage construction-- in your typical details for the floor, do you require a "slip sheet" over the insulation, just beneath the floor slab?

If so, why? And is this really just strips of material at the joints in the insulation [or in the floor slab?] or a full floor covering?

I wrote specs for walk-in refrigerator and walk-in freezers for a Marine Corps "Dining Facility" (now back to "Mess Hall" name). What surprised me was the need for drainage under the refrigerator and freezer because of condensation. See one manufacturer's installation details: http://www.ballyrefboxes.com/ballydc/Specs/Floors.pdf
