Where would this be specified? It's kind of office furniture, but it's fixed; Division 12 mentions only "not permanently attached", but I can't find "permanently attached"... |

Can you lump it in with hardware for architectural woodwork like a CPU holder or keyboard tray? |

Lynn, I usually put it in with interior architectural woodwork too. It'll need to be assembled on site and installed by the carpentry trade. |

Lynn.... I asked the same question about a year ago. The recommendations from the fine people in this forum was to put it in Division 6 with the architectural wood casework and in Division 11 under one of the medical equipment numbers (I was putting them in a hospital corridor). It ended up not even being used in the job, so I never wrote the section. Hope this is somewhat helpful..... |

Thanks y'all. I think I've got the answer because we'll probably have to fabricate it, so I've found a Hafele bracket that should work. And in my Friday-feeble brain, that makes it Division 06. |

At this point in the story, some years ago on a medical project, someone mentioned that people would no doubt use it to sit on or at least lean on. It was a short hop, skip and jump to slab to slab 4X4 TS Posts inside the wall supporting brackets with 750 pound capacity each.... |
