"green up" my specs?

Does anybody recommend any good resources where I can glean language? Does MasterSpec have LEED requirements in the specs? Thanks! They also want me to write up a comparison chart of, for example, floor finishes, comparing initial cost, maintenance, expected life cycle, recycled content or recyclability, etc. Does MasterSpec "white pages" have this information? I have both and use Speclink for most everything but I utilize MasterSpec for the large amount of information that it has accumulated over the years, the depth of brain power behind it and I use it for super cranky sections. I have also pushed out a link to all the suplemental docs to every employees desktop. The supplemental docs are FULL of usefull bits. Anne Whitacre, FCSI CCS Senior Member Username: awhitacre Post Number: 488 Registered: 07-2002 Posted on Tuesday, March 20, 2007 - 06:32 pm:    Masterspec also has a "greening your specs" book called "Specifying LEED Requirements Book and CD ROM". its $290 plus shipping and handling. as for the product research, that is going to vary every year, and its the project team's responsibility to do that research for THEIR project. the research sheets from Masterspec have some of that information, but I think you need to push back on the information requests, otherwise all you do is that .... stuff. I've now heard two well known and published architects say: "the only people doing green design are people who can't design". Russell W. Wood, CSI, CCS Senior Member Username: woodr5678 Post Number: 80 Registered: 11-2003 Posted on Wednesday, March 21, 2007 - 09:10 am:    Check out the Federal Guide for Green Construction Specs at fedgreenspecs.wbdg.org They have developed boiler plate language for each spec section ie: Recycled Content, Local/Regional Materials, VOC Data, etc. I've used their language since before MasterSpec and SpecLink came on board to the green scene.
