Any leads for manufacturers of louvered wood doors for installation as toilet stall doors? Thanks for your help! |

Ralph My clients who go that route, typically do not use the standard toilet partition systems. We do alot of hotel work in the islands and to provide that tropical feel, the toilet stalls are framed from metal studs and finished with high impact wallboard. Then it is easy to use standard wood louvered doors or even shutters. |

Close to my situation, but thought there might be a good manufacturer for the doors themselves. Got this from MasterSpec, but can't find any other info on it-- WDMA Design Group Louver Doors, Panel Design [1202-730] [1212-732]. |

Ralph Lambton makes a quality door and they have been very competitive on my projects...do you need any other manufacturers? |

4Specs lists almost 3 dozen manufacturers of interior shutters under window treatment in Div 12. Pinecrest, a major manufacturer of doors, shutters, and grilles is another possibility.(http://www.pinecrestinc.com/) |

Ralph Another manuf is Marshfield Doors: http://www.marshfielddoors.com/DesignOptions_Louvers.html Probably most wood door manuf offer this louver option. If you go the shutter route, I highly recommend Timberlane Woodcrafters, Inc. http://www.timberlaneshutters.com/ext_styles.php They make exquisite shutters in red cedar or mahogany - wow, their red cedar wood louver sample is one sample I keep around just for inspiration. |

Ralph: If you want to go with a performance/descriptive specification, you can utilize AWI's QSI using stile and rail doors with louvers (ref. figures 1400-D-31 or 1400-D-32). This will allow local woodworking shops to possibly participate as a custom door provider. |

Summit Hill, another louver/shutter manufacturer, makes several lines no longer marketed by Pinecrest (and is linked to by Pinecrest's website -- http://www.summithillinc.com) |
