Is any one aware of US manufacturers or suppliers of zinc wall panels? I've got VM Zinc (Unicore) and Rheinzinc but I'm hoping there are others. We're looking for a flat-seam panel system for an exterior wall application. The project is in Northern California. Thanks. |

Three years ago, the last time I specified zinc wall panels, we included the two you mentioned plus "Contrarian Metal Resources" |

I am not aware of US manufacturers however I do know that Rheinzinc has restructured their distribution so that they have relatively local stocked regional sources all over the US. We are working with them and VM Zinc as an alternate in Southern CA. |

Not aware of others than Rheinzink (spelled with a "K", by the way) and VM. (With Rheinzink's US headquarters across the street from my office, it's easy to get good service from them!) |

John, did you find any other MFR's for zinc wall panels? My office has recently opened up a similar inquiry. Thanks! |

Nathan - We just bid a project using VM Zinc's "Flat Lock" system as basis of design. We specified their entire system, from the weather-resistant barrier out, including delegated-design for attachments. The project was just awarded, so it's possible a substitute product will be submitted. |

When using zinc wall cladding, I recommend back-coated product only due to the potential for corrosion from behind. Uncoated zinc is very moisture sensitive. |
