As many of my friends here know, I'm starting something new. Taking a couple of interns under wing to teach them about Specs. Project managing previously was just me, so quite simple. I've been looking at project management apps to keep track of more projects and the work of my interns. Lots of information, mostly confusing. Any recommendations of what has worked for you? |

I really like SmartSheet. There are a lot of possible uses for it. A completely different program might be Basecamp. Or for visual collaboration, we've been using Miro Boards a lot. Some of our PM's like canban style management using Asana. These are all very diffent in concept, but accomplish similar things. SmartSheet is my personal favorite. |

Of course, if you have Microsoft 365, Planner & OneNote work pretty well too, and you already have it |

Hi Margaret, I'd be happy to send you a link to VisiSpecs demos or walk you through a live demo where you could see how Project Management, Doc Status Flags and Parameters, Project Tracking Logs, Restricted Editing, and more can help you oversee your interns work on the specs. Not just a project management application as it includes the actual spec writing tools. Drop me a note to smcgrady@chalklineinc.com if you are interested. |
