Since the chapter has gone to "virtual meetings", the meeting consists of a program/lecture. I've really missed the "social hour" and meal that preceded the chapter business meeting and program.

I've found a program that shows promise. It's named Gather.Town. We're hoping to implement if for our June chapter meeting. The program is like an old video game. Individuals create their own avatars and can wander through a virtual room. The virtual room includes a podium for the speaker/presenter as well as stations "rugs" for groups to congregate. As the avatar moves about the room the user can see who is in the group and listen in. He can join the group and leave easily.
There are more features that the Gather.Town websites illustrates pretty well.

If any of you have used this program or a similar one, I'd like to know how it went.
