Many online continuing education courses are dull, uninformative, and a waste if time. A client has asked me to create an online course for them, and wants to see examples of good programs before we get started. Please suggest ones you like. Also, what has been your experience with the 15 minute "Nano-CEU" programs AIA/CES now approves? Michael Chusid, RA FCSI CCS 1-818-219-4937 www.chusid.com www.buildingproduct.guru |

In my experience, a speaker with an energetic delivery style makes a huge difference. I used to write and deliver continuing education courses because I wanted total control. Although my presentations were acknowledged for having good technical content, they put people to sleep because I am not good with delivery. They even put me to sleep when I had them recorded and played back to me. Now I am working with a professional speaker and the presentations are getting much better feedback. If he gets stumped by a question, I am available to step in and provide technical support. Otherwise, I let him do his thing and I stick with the writing. I have found that I even write better knowing someone else is going to be handling the speaking part. |

David, I have a general memory of being in meetings with you in Virginia, over a several-year time period. I can’t image any professional speaker being able to deliver your dry-sense-of-humor-comments better than you. Most were priceless. |
