This is a really interesting new show on Spike TV, you might find worth watching as furniture craftsman/artists design and build furniture in a 24 hr window from unusual sources. Episodes can be watched online, updated each Tuesday. The judges include a Designer, a Furniture Craftsman, and a Rapper - considered to be representative of the Consumer, oddly his name is "Common" (who just won a Golden Globe for his collaboration with John Legend for an original song for Selma). I enjoyed the show, very interesting watching grown men and women act like College Freshmen in Design 101. In the first episode the contestants were challenged to build a signature piece of furniture from materials they were to reclaim within 2 hour window scavenging through a boat yard - very hands on.

Let me know what you think.

I watch it online, while working on my other monitor, multi tasking, I sometimes pause to concentrate on parts of the show, I do the same when watching shark tank, another favorite.

Ken, I enjoyed your humorous post, I am a firm believer that humor is the best medicine. I wanted to send you a humorous email I received this week from a colleague (made me laugh), but I could not locate your email, unfortunately it is pictorial, difficult to post here, besides there are members of this board who have no sense of humor, and might complain that I am wasting their time...those are the ones who need humor the most.
