Asking for direction to any film that can be applied to existing clear glass, to give it a tint and reduce light trasnmission without being totally opaque, and which will not void any glass warranties?

Thanks much!

3M has a host of them: http://www.3m.com/us/arch_construct/scpd/windowfilm/
I've used them successfully in a variety of ways, usually as retrofits when the function behind the window changes and the desired visibility must change with it. There are other companies available on 4specs at 088700. Have fun choosing color, opacity, pattern, etc.!

Not sure why, but I'm the "Unregistered Guest"; the interior designers here love the Llumar films. It all depends on the look you want. Haven't used the SolarStat or Window Lock, though.

Ralph-

Are you looking to add this tinted film to insulated or monolithic glass?

If its IG, most fabricators void the warranty no matter what film is applied.
