Fire Rated Partition Closure

Crocco Senior Member Username: kcrocco Post Number: 36 Registered: 04-2003 Posted on Wednesday, January 25, 2006 - 04:36 pm:    I am searching for a "device" or custom closure between the fire and acoustically rated partition and the inside face of the mullion of the exterior curtain wall. This is like a vertical perimeter fire containment detail or a vertical expansion joint cover assembly. Does anyone make something like this? There used to be a manufactuer for this product, but I can't find one any longer. I don't even know what to call it. Ronald L. I searched through several of the test assemblies. I am searching for a vertical closure from fire rated partition to non-rated curtain wall assembly.
