I am looking for editing notes for the fire alarm detection and alarm section. My link takes me to the old section numbers which would 16720. This section number is missing. I can access the other section numbers to access editing notes but not this one. Where can I find it? Has it been deleted?

[I think the 16720 was a MasterFormat 1985 number - It was in the 1385x area in MF1995 and is now in the 28-3100 area. Look there in 4specs.

Could this be a confusion between MasterFormat and Masterspec? Editing Notes are something one would find in a master guide specification system.

Sounds like you are referring to MASTERSPEC. It further sounds like you do not have the latest version of the MASTERSPEC section or at least have not installed the latest supporting documents from your update CD. There is also the possibility that your update did not install correctly (rare, but does happen).

In any of these cases, please utilize the excellent technical support available to you at (800) 424-5080. They are helping licensed users solve their problems and are able to provide helpful hints for the update installation process.
